omg, when i write something in english this sentenses look always like polish sentenses. i don't like this:(
eN writes wery well and uses complicate constructions, and words, and this is so proffesional.

I still speak english with polish grammar after 8 years but sometimes I know the sentence is not right:)

Not 'somebody make a mistake' but 'someone is making a mistake' or 'someone made a mistake' if we are talking about past. In according to more 'sophisticated' forms, one always can tell 'someone had made a mistake/has made a mistake' (it's makes a difference)

For me it's much easier to rather write in English than talk. Like most of us, I've red above.

I spoke english so long time ago. I don't remember when to use Present Perfect Continuous for example, e.t.c... I've learned english in school and didn't used to it very often through times when I was sick. I have a plan to remember some of grammar concepts and maybe I'll remember some part of vocabulary :-)

Wow, I've just noticed the new space where we can talk only in English.I am very happy such topic has been opened. As for me.. I can tell you that I lived in the UK for 5 years and living in a foreign country is in itself the best school ever. But for me, it was not enough so I went to a school of English in Portsmouth, where I lived, and that was the best money I've ever spent. I learnt so much and got myself to fluency in a short time and got a certificate in advanced level. I really recommend to anyone Cambridge certificates (FCE, CAE and CPE). It's a good paper to have that says about your good level of English and it's valid for life! I want to get CPE which is the highest you can get

I actually got schizophrenia in the UK and my parents came to take me home to Poland. Do you know that I had voices in both languages?! Also, when I watched English TV, I thought they're talking to me (typical schizophrenic disillusion) and other.

Currently, I live with my parents in Poland. However, I'm planning to go back to the UK next month as I want to get my life back to normal (as it was before I got sick). That's my goal. How are you fighting schizophrenia???

Hi Alexa I had voices in both languages. Did you start treatment in UK or in Poland.

I went to my GP doctor (lekarz rodzinny) and she gave me some sleeping pills as I told her I couldn't sleep at all. My friend called my mum on her mobile phone. When she heard something wrong is happening with me, she decided to come to the UK. When they saw that I was behaving very strange they decided to take me home to Poland to see a doctor there. We drove all day and night and arrived to Szczecin where we went to a hospital to do some tests (as well as CT scan). Everything was OK, so they they directed us to a Psychiatric hospital. The doctor I spoke to there and who interviewed me decided that I should stay in a hospital. So that's how my treatment with psychotropic medications started. I spent 2 months there and went out with a diagnosis of schizophrenia....

Yes, that's what I'm planning to do. I have to have a psychiatrist too.

good thinking. Is that your first psychosis or you had some before? and how old are you?

That was the only time. It happened one year ago. I'm 25. Hoping there won't be any relapse... ever.
